Prof. Gitanjali "Mishty" Deb, JD is the Founder of The Mediation Connection, LLC and Co-Founder and Managing Partner of LaSusa & Deb, PLLC. Licensed since 2005, she brings more than twenty years of substantive legal experience to her work as a neutral — a background spanning healthcare regulation, securities, corporate transactions, nonprofit governance, and international business.

Prof. Deb has conducted more than 1,500 mediation proceedings and has served as an arbitrator in complex, high-stakes securities arbitration. She is a member of the American Health Law Association Arbitrators Panel, holds FINRA and Texas Department of Insurance IDR program credentials, and is a specialist in No Surprises Act independent dispute resolution.

She serves as an Adjunct Professor at Dallas College, teaching legal analysis, negotiation, and mediation.
